Is The Flying Handbag still a gay bar?
We’re very proud to say Yes!  As the years have gone by we do attract a lot more “straight” people but we are still Gay All The Way!
 
Is there a door charge and if so on what nights?

At the moment we have free admission every night except Friday nights when there is a charge of £1 to non-members and Saturday nights £2 to non-members. However, on payment of this, you will receive a discount voucher for The Flamingo* for that night.

We do not charge on a Sunday night unless it is one of our frequent Charity events, where the charge is either £1 or £2 to all. This however is to raise money for the various charities the night is in support of.

* The Flamingo reserves the right to suspend issue of discount vouchers on nights with special events
 
Is there a door policy or dress code?
We don’t have a strict dress code however we do always reserve the right to refuse admission. My advice, “Dress to Impress”!

We do operate challenge 25 in all ITP venues. We are strict with ID so if you are fortunate enough to look under 25 then please bring ID with you. We only accept Passports, UK driving licence with photo or ID cards bearing the “PASS” logo. If you cannot produce any of these when asked for ID then you will not be able to enter the Flying Handbag.
Please remember however, the management always reserve the right to refuse admission regardless.

Do you allow dogs in the venue?
I’m afraid we don’t allow dog’s in The Flying Handbag. This is due to environmental health issues as we serve food.
 
Do the other ITP venues have a website?
Yes all ITP venues have a web presence and to make them easy to remember they all end with online.
