Designed beautifully The Flying Handbag caters to everyone. With its ultra modern conservatory on one side of the building leading into a stunning decked area outside for smokers and sun worshippers, also we boast a large roof terrace above the garden for those hot summer days and long warm nights with background music playing always.
Inside we have a very large double sided bar serving the more chilled conservatory side of the venue and also the opposite side of our bar, with comfortable seating, a raised DJ box, a disco lit dance floor and a good size stage, where we have many acts perform, including in the past, Jane McDonald, Sonia, Hazel Dean and many more.
Of course we are still holding regular cabaret nights, our top DJ’s entertain you every night and also in the afternoons at weekends.
We have a pool table area as well and several gaming machines around the venue, also an information station where you can find the up to the minute free gay press and other items of local interest. Around the venue we boast 5 large flat screen televisions showing advertisements and music videos throughout the day and night.
From 12pm till 6pm Daily the Flying Lunch-Box is also open. Serving hot and cold meals and snacks right to your table.
We also have great disabled access, with a permanent ramp at the entrance and also a disabled toilet on ground level. |
